We are thanking the Lord for the beautiful weather we are having this week. It is a much needed break from the rain we had every day last week. Don't get me wrong, I love rainy days, just in moderation. Audrey misses her playmate while she is in school and her favorite way to pass the time is to play outside; something we could not do last week. However, sunny skies and 73 degrees is perfect weather for a trip to the zoo. Today, I took Audrey to the children's zoo and it was our first time to go just the two of us. We had fun. And, to top that off, our friend Nancy called and invited us to have lunch with her and her two sons, Trevor and Preston. Audrey made Nancy and I laugh when she observed Preston while Nancy was feeding him. Preston is a big baby boy. He is 5 months old and weighs 19 pounds (I'm pretty sure he'll be a football player). The way Nancy held him caused his shirt to ride up exposing his belly. Audrey pointed to it and said "He has a huge, great big belly!!" :)
Here are some pictures from our visit to the zoo.
