Hurricane Ike Hits Close To Home

Not literally since I live in Nebraska. However, it has devastated the city of Galveston where my Aunt Dawn, Uncle Alan, and cousin Jenny live. If y'all are reading my blog, please know that my heart goes out to you and my stomach aches over this. You are in my prayers!

They evacuated to Austin (where my other cousin, Leslie lives with her hubby Chris) and will be there until they are allowed to return to Galveston. When you read the post you'll notice a reference to Aunt Sam; that's my mom. She is known as Sam to all of the Texas relatives.
