We are currently dog sitting for my parents as they enjoy a fun getaway together. Since it was a beautiful day we went to a lake after dinner. I had the bright idea to bring the dog. I thought she would enjoy the chance to see some different scenery and smell some different smells. Since she is getting old (10 years) I made sure we took several breaks during our walk around the lake. Here we are during one of those breaks.

and jumped into the lake.
I was seconds away from wading into the water to retrieve her 
before she turned around headed to shore on her own.
It was just like a scene out of Marley and me.
The dog wasn't the only one who had a good time this evening.
The girls played in the sand
and just ran around and had a great time!
