Kit Kittredge

On Sunday my mom took Madeleine, Grace, and I to see Kit Kittredge An American Girl. Madeleine brought her American Girl doll along so when we arrived to the ticket booth we did not even have to say what movie we were there to see; the young lady knew. :) Grammy bought Madeleine the Kiddie Pack which consisted of pop, popcorn, and pixie sticks. Mom and dad are too cheap for such luxuries so that was a TREAT. I wish I had my camera with me to capture how cute she looked sitting propped up in the movie seat on a booster with her kiddie pack on her lap and her American Doll right next to her. The whole movie theatre was filled with little girls and their American Dolls.

If you get a chance to see this movie I highly recommend that you do. My mom bawled like a baby and even clapped; I shielded my face with my hand pretending that she wasn't my mother (just kidding, mom about the pretending you weren't my mom. I did shield my face, though). It is well worth the cost of the ticket. This is a movie that we will definitely buy when it comes to DVD.
