Here she is on her 1st day of 1st grade.
Here she is today, on her last day of 1st grade. She is holding the flower pot that she painted for her teacher.
At the end of the day she gave her best friend a quick hug
and said good-bye to her teacher, Mrs. J. Madeleine loves her and would love to have her for a second grade teacher as well. However, something tells me she will love her 2nd grade teacher just as much.
Now she is a second grader and is holding the diploma to prove it.
We are so proud of you Madeleine and can't wait to see what adventures 2nd grade will bring. In the mean time, bring on the popsicles, swimming pools, and playgrounds. It's summer time, baby!

Madeleine Rose ~ I am so proud of you!!! Yay for summer and spending time at Grammy's house. We'll have to go to Hobby Lobby and buy some supplies to make a book together. I'm also gonna teach you and Audrey how to make chocolate cake.
