Audrey would have rather been playing outside, but since it was a rainy day, she settled for play dough instead.

Madeleine's favorite past-time is swinging & she has been teaching Audrey how to swing as well.

All of a sudden yesterday afternoon the house sounded quiet . . . too quiet. Then I realized it was because Madeleine was not around, at my side, like she usually is. When I went to look for her, I found her quietly reading in her room. I aged the picture to make it look like it was taken in the 1800's.

Today I spent the better part of my day planting flowers along the side of my house and in pots. I am such an amateur that I'm terrified they are all going to die. I fed them miracle grow and I am really expecting a miracle! Here are the ones on the side of my house.

WOW!!! You did a beautiful job. I promise not to touch them or look in their direction when I visit...it might kill them :)
Madeleine looks so serious, what was she reading? Your flower bed is gorgeous! Can't wait to see it in person.
