This afternoon we took on the daunting task of signing valentines. Have you ever noticed how small they are? They sure don't leave enough room for those children unfortunate enough to have a long name like Madeleine. She had many valentines to sign and both of us were getting frustrated so I copied her signature and made labels. :) If we ever have another child I am tempted to name him or her C.J. or Ty.
Not too shabby. Perhaps she will grow up to be an artist or a photographer; only time will tell.
In the past year I have watched Madeleine turn into a young lady and I have watched her personality unfold. She has developed a love of art; she loves to draw and take pictures. Here is a picture that she drew for her teacher, Mrs. Calfee:
It is a picture of a human (as Madeleine says). Check out her signature; it is getting pretty good, huh?!

She did a GREAT job on her signature! Nice coaching Mom :) Toby has made a special valentine for his "Maddyun"...what would be so wrong with an arranged marriage? ;)

yeah madeleine! i'd say she is developing some pretty impressive skills!
I now have a cool fridge, dude. Madeleine gave the surf board art to me!
