For Madeleine's friend birthday party we let her invite a couple of friends to join us at Paint Yourself Silly. It is a paint-it-yourself pottery studio. When you arrive you pick a piece (or two) of pottery, choose paint colors, and let your imagination run wild. When you are done, you leave your pottery there to be fired in a clear glaze. Then, a week later it is ready to picked up.

Madeleine is meticulously painting her horse
while Audrey had a more laid back approach to her painting. She continuously painted one color on top of another & it didn't matter where the paint landed on her little car.
This is Olivia & she is painting a bear. Oh, and yes, that is Steven in the background painting a wizard. When all the girls were done we had to wait patiently for him to put the finishing touches on it.
I really enjoyed watching the girls paint. A couple of them were painting the same bear, but it was interesting to see each individual's creative interpretation.

After an hour of painting we met at our house for lunch, cupcakes, and presents.
