Here's the Birthday Girl!
After picking her up from school we took her to a park to play. Audrey enjoyed playing as well.
This particular park has a nature trail. On it, we saw this baby bunny.
I always think it is such a treat to see wild animals in their natural habitat; especially baby ones. I crouched down to get a better look with Madeleine close behind me.
These telescopes are meant to aid people in the viewing of wild life. However, according to Madeleine, they were actually viewing planets.
The girls posed very briefly for a sister picture.
After we had our fill of nature at the park, we treated Madeleine to her favorite dinner; the cheese burrito platter at Las Margaritas. Then we went home for presents and cake. Since Madeleine loves arts and crafts, all of her presents were chosen with that in mind. And, last minute, I found a sun dress that screamed Madeleine so we got that for her also.
Since Madeleine loves cats, we thought a cat cake would be appropriate. Believe it or not, I did indeed decorate that life-like cat face. I know, I know . . . AMAZING!

I love the picture of you with Madeleine, we moms never seem to be in the pictures :) The cake turned out great! Did Sunny come out to inspect your work?
