Audrey's Story

I just wanted to take a moment to share with you why Steven and I support the March of Dimes. Our daughter, Audrey, was born 3 months premature. I started having complications with my pregnancy early on. I made more trips to the emergency room than I can count, expecting to hear the words, "I'm so sorry" every time. When I was 24 weeks along, I woke up to a gush of fluid, only to find out that it was blood. Upon arriving at the hospital I was given an ultrasound & it was determined that my water had broke. After hearing those words, I was convinced that I would be delivering a still born baby. Instead, I was rushed by ambulance to a more specialized hospital where I was kept on bed rest until Audrey's delivery 3 weeks later.

Audrey received phenomenal care during her 8 week stay at the hospital. She survived by the grace of God and because of the money raised & the research done by the March of Dimes. The money we raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. And it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten babies.

If you have made a donation, thank you so much!! Your support means the world to me. If you haven't, would you please consider doing so? You can make a secure donation by clicking on the link at the top of my blog. Your donation will help save the lives of babies born too early like Audrey.

And that is why Audrey is so strong willed! She's been a fighter from the first :) She's gonna make you so proud! (She already has...) Beautiful montage, you made me cry.
