Well seeing how I don't like snow, I have never actually dreamed of a white Christmas, but that is what I got. As I write this, the snow is continuing to fall and blow causing 4 foot snow drifts in some areas, which is why were not able to go to the home of Steven's family this morning. We are sad, but excited at the thought of having another family Christmas to look forward to. Instead we are lounging in our pajamas, watching new movies we received as gifts, and playing with our new toys (my "toy" is a new coffee pot). The snow may not be fun to shovel (luckily Steven does that) or safe to drive in, but it does provide a certain family togetherness (even if it is forced upon us) that can be compared to nothing else. :)
Thankfully, we were able to make it to church & my parent's house on Christmas Eve before the streets were impassable. Here are the girls posing for a quick picture before church

They behaved pretty well during the service. Although, Madeleine did say on several occasions, "this is boring!" Well, I happened to love it!
Here are Madeleine and Audrey posing with their BIG gift from Grammy and Papa. They stayed up until nearly midnight playing with it. I guess you could say it was a huge hit!

Here are some more various pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas day that I combined into collages:

Last night after the girls had opened all of their presents Madeleine said, "I love everything I got, but one thing is missing. The singing. We should all hold hands and sing carols around the Christmas tree". I don't know where she comes up with this stuff, but I LOVE it!
And finally, a family gathering would not be complete without family photos:
