While I Was Sleeping

So, I have been feeling a little under the weather this week. The medicine I have been taking has made me very sleepy, so we have had a lazy week. Although the Supernanny would probably not approve, I have put in a Dora movie once or twice this week to occupy Audrey so I could shut my eyes. While I was sleeping Audrey took all of her clothes off and sat watching Dora in the nude. I took a cute picture, but will respect my husband's wishes by not posting it on the blog. Apparently Dora is better in the nude.

I guess since I was so tired Audrey thought it would be nice to help me out by feeding the cat.

Nikki is thinking, "Thank you! They don't feed me enough around here. I am practically skin and bones!"

We have also spent the week babying our new kitten. Her name is Sunny, but we call her Sunny Diva

She is no longer confined to the girls' playroom; instead she has free reign over the house. She has been putting Nikki in her place. It cracks me up to see our tiny kitten hissing and batting at our LARGE cat, Nikki.

I also learned a valuable lesson this week. A little girl wearing black cat ears is simply terrifying to a kitten. Doesn't she look frightening?

Sunny sure thought so and unfortnately I was holding her at the time. I have the claw marks and puncture wounds to prove it. All is forgiven, though. :) Have a GREAT weekend!
