Awwww. It is almost 9:30 and our house is quiet; not a creature is stirring. Today we hosted Thanksgiving at our house for the first time. It went very well, if I do say so myself. I had the feast ready by 1:30. Of course, I couldn't have done it without my little helper.
Audrey is licking her salad bowl clean. It had Strawberry Floof in it and she didn't waste a single drop.
She is posing with the top to the sour cream container because it had a pretty flower on it. When I opened it she said, "Mom, take a picture because I always want to remember how pretty this is". She helped me make 2 salads, a pumpkin pie, and she helped Steven make the green bean casserole.
I also had some help from Grace and Natalie. Grace peeled potatoes and Natalie cut them. They are amazing! ;)

Settling in and getting cozy. We watched High School Musical after dinner.
The only picture I was able to snap of Audrey (other than her licking her bowl clean) because she is just so busy.
This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my family and friends. I am also thankful for our health. In this time of economic uncertainty, I am thankful for my home and the fact that I feel safe in it. I am also thankful for God who is present in all of life's cirmustances. I hope all of you had a Happy Thanksgiving. God Bless!
