Cabin Fever

My dear cousin Erika just posted on her blog http://knittinghummel.blogspot.com/ what it is like to live in the midwest & have cabin fever. This morning the thermometer in our van read 4 degrees! With temperatures like that it is impossible to play outside. My children are bouncing off the walls and ready for Spring. I love the way Erika described how the bitterly cold temperatures allows us to be that much more excited for Spring (boy are we ever excited). With that being said we try to find fun things to do here and there that get us out of the house. On Friday evening we went to the mall and let the girls ride the carousel. It is such a cheap thrill for my cooped up girls!

And as soon as the carousel starts to slow down Audrey starts to cry. This happens every time without fail. :)
