Necklace Emergency

I decided to jump on the "blogger bandwagon" so to speak. I have enjoyed reading the blogs of others and decided to try to keep up with one of my own. I figure my children give me plenty to write about. :)

You are probably intrigued by the title of my blog entry. Let me start from the beginning . . .On labor day we traveled to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. It was something we haven't done in a while and we really enjoyed our time together as a family. Towards the end of the day I found a charm that probably fell off of someone's necklace. I tried to find a lost and found area, but Steven told me it was a lost cause and we gave the charm to Madeleine (she LOVES to collect little odds and ends). Later that evening we went to my parent's house for dinner and Madeleine proudly showed her charm to everyone.
Natalie (the creative genius of the family) took one look at it & said she could make a necklace out of it. Madeleine picked out the beads herself and a cute little necklace was born. Madeleine loved it and showed it off proudly in a picture I took this morning.

Sadly, shortly after this picture was taken Audrey took hold of Madeleine by the necklace (she is an onery little girl) & it broke. Beads went flying everywhere. Madeleine was distraught and said, "We have to call Natalie! This is an emergency!!" So, Natalie, if you are reading this please know that we have a serious emergency on our hands and need a new necklace; stat!
