It is time to break out the jeans and jackets because Fall is in the air. It is rainy and 60 degrees today; a good day to drink coffee & curl up under a blanket. Madeleine started her first day of pre-school today. It won't be long before I am writing about her first day of kindergarten. I know it sounds cliche, but it seems like only yesterday she was a tiny baby who depended on me for everything. Now she is a little girl who insists on doing everything for herself. Audrey and I enjoyed some quality time this morning shopping at Target. I can't get enough of that store now that they opened up a new and improved Super Target. She serenaded me with songs and "Audrey babble" as I browsed. Speaking of growing up fast, Audrey will be two in November. That flew by in a heartbeat! It wasn't long ago that she was a helpless 2 pound baby. Now she is a little monkey who climbs on everything. In fact just yesterday morning, while I was making breakfast, she climbed onto our kitchen table! Imagine my surprise when I looked up from what I was doing to see her on the table drinking coffee out of my travel mug. The quality of the picture is bad because I took it using my phone; the battery in my camera was dead.
You never know where you may find Audrey next! Just this evening she was dishing the cat some food with her toothbrush. That's my girl; always lending a helping hand!

Hello, Katie! I'm so delighted that you are now blogging! Thank you for checking in on mine and for your e-mail! It brought tears to my eyes! It was just what I needed today! I'm looking forward to keeping up with each other this way!
Until next time,
Erika
I thought it was so funny this afternoon when Audrey kept going back to Dasiy's water dish. Her falling into the plant was hoot, too. Too bad we didn't get that one on "film". I'm guessing you have never have a dull moment at home.
