Christmas Program 2010

On Sunday evening Madeleine and Audrey participated in our church's annual Christmas program.  They both did very well.  I was on pins and needles while waiting for Audrey's class to perform.  Last year she cried and ultimately ended up in my lap.

This year she stood up there and did motions in between quick glances at something behind her.

Away in a manger no crib for His bed.  The little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head.

Big smiles for daddy (who was up front and center taking pictures) when it was all over.

Madeleine's turn in the spot light.  Our shorty girl took a spot right in the front just as we instructed her to do. 

Singing with great gusto.

. . . and we'll join in singing with all the redeemed cause satan is vanquished and Jesus is King! (my  favorite line of the song they were singing)

Once my stars were done performing, we posed them for pictures in front of the beautiful tree and poinsettias.

 There is nothing like a children's Christmas program to get you excited for Christmas.  Only 17 more days . . . and I still have to finish my Christmas shopping.  But I am still so excited!
