I love photography. I enjoy looking at photographs and I love taking them even more. As a matter of fact, I have a tendency to see life in pictures. So, you can only imagine how excited I was to receive an early Christmas present from my mom and dad. A new DSLR camera that has so many bells and whistles it may require that I take a class in order to effectively use them all. Ever since taking the camera out of its box on Sunday afternoon, I have been snapping pictures like mad (I once heard a photographer say that is how she gets good shots). Yesterday afternoon I took the girls to Pioneers Park. I promised them they could play on the playground after taking pictures in a more scenic area of the park. Here are a few of my favorites.
The girls had a fabulous time
terrorizing admiring the geese.
Madeleine enjoyed watching them spread their big wings as they flocked to the water.
In fact, she may have run towards them just so she could see their big wings flap in a mad dash to get away from her.
This goose told me off because I got too close. It hissed at me.
The following two pictures are my favorite. I love the background, lighting, and the two little girls looking back at me.
I put even more pictures on facebook. If you are interested in seeing the rest you can click
here. I may still have a lot to learn, but I am having a blast doing so.
