Project 365

8/9/10  Audrey is making an English Muffin Pizza for lunch.  Madeleine made one too, but was done faster than I could take a picture.

8/10/10  Playing in the foam pit at Lost in Fun.

8/11/10  Sunny is playing with her new toy.  Back in June when the cats had fleas, we threw away their cat tower fearing that it might have been infested with fleas (never mind the fact that we could have sprayed it with Raid, but that was an afterthought).  Ever since, we have felt bad that we took away their perch and the only thing Sunny had to sharpen her claws on.  So, we got them a new and improved one with a dangling mouse that Sunny can't get enough of.  In fact, the mouse didn't stay dangling there for long before Sunny yanked it off.

8/12/10  Playing dress up at Grammy's.  The handkerchief she is wearing on her head was my made by my Grandma Doris.  She made it for my mom to wear when she was a little girl.
8/13/10  My mom & I attended Women of Faith this weekend.  This is a picture of the worship team singing In Christ Alone.  I captured the picture as they were singing my favorite lyrics.  I have decided that I want to sing on the Women of Faith worship team when I grow up.

8/14/10  On Saturday there was a surprise guest; Selah!!!  I really thought the surprise was meant for me personally since the male vocalist (Todd Smith) is married to my favorite blogger, Angie Smith.  Her blog is Bring the Rain and I have been following it for 2.5 years.  I feel such a connection with her.  In fact, Angie was there and I wanted to run to her and throw my arms around her in thankfulness for what she has done for me by sharing deeply personal stories & struggles on her blog.  Even though her story includes grief and sadness, it is also one of hope and how God met her in the middle of her grief and even brought beauty out of it.  She is truly inspiring.

8/15/10  Audrey appreciates good music.  She is rocking out to my new Mary Mary CD.  Mary Mary and Natalie Grant were at Women of Faith and both of them brought the house down with their AMAZING vocals!

First of all, I can't believe how big your girls have gotten! Second of all, it's nice to catch up on your life again. I've begun blogging personally (www.joyfullythriving.com) and love reading others to see what they are up to...especially when I know them! Third of all, I love Angie too, and have been reading her blog since I read her newest book. Have you read it already? Blessings to you and Steven as you raise your little ones!
