Madeleine's Last Day of School

Today was Madeleine's last day of kindergarten. At the beginning of the school year I was sad to let her go . . . now I am sad to see the year come to an end. She loves school, her friends, and her teacher Mrs A. It is unbelievable how much she learned this year from math to writing. Even her coloring and drawing skills have improved. And as you will see from the pictures, her appearance has changed a little also.

Madeleine's teacher is a phenomenal woman. Her patience and genuine passion for teaching put me at ease.

This final picture is of Madeleine and her best friend. Imagine my horror when I got to school, camera in hand, the girls perfectly posed, and . . . my camera battery dies. So, I took this one with my phone.

I can hardly believe that Madeleine is a first grader!
