Before & After

As promised, I have some before and after pictures to show you.

Here is the guilty verdict. The busted water heater.

On Friday Lowe's came out and installed our new carpet; paid for by insurance.
Here is how our living room looks today:
Thanks to a wonderful sale at Lowe's (a blessing from God) we were able to re-carpet our bedroom as well. In fact we still have some insurance money left that will go towards the repayment of the new water heater. Many of my dear friends who live in the Lincoln area have never even seen my bedroom because the door was always closed. The reason for the door being closed all the time is the shagadellic carpet it once had. As promised, I will show you the before and after pictures of my bedroom. Please be aware that the following picture is not for the faint of heart:

Aggghhhhhhh!!!!That carpet was so bad that when my cat puked on it I could never find it later to clean up; it blended right in. That will no longer be the case. Here is my bedroom now: And if my cat pukes on the carpet now she will lose her happy home. Of course, I am kidding but I will at least be able to find it to clean up. :)

So the nightmare of the water heater has finally come to an end. Now I must catch up on the laundry and cleaning I have been neglecting for the last two weeks.
