We have survived the first week of school! When asked, Madeleine will tell you that her favorite part of the school day is recess. This comes as no surprise since she is very active and LOVES the outdoors. She can also sing all of the songs she has learned during music class; actions included. I have been known to drive by the school when I know the kiddos will be on the playground. One such time I saw Madeleine playing alone with a ball. While she looked very cute dribbling the bright orange ball, I was sad that she was alone. Madeleine has been known to make friends at the park. She may not know anyone when we arrive, but by the time we leave she is telling everyone good-bye by name. So, seeing her play alone surprised me. Yesterday, I prayed a lot, specifically at the times I knew she would be at recess. When she got home I asked her about her day and about recess. I am really enjoying my time with Audrey. Her little personality shows more when she doesn't have to share the spot light. In fact, she is down right adorable! We have enjoyed our time together and are slowly adjusting to the quietness that is our home when Madeleine is not there.
I am sorry this post is so long, but I haven't written an entry in an entire week (totally uncharacteristic of me). I hope you are all having a GREAT week!

That is too precious! We'll have to get together with Madeleine and Toby soon so that Madeleine doesn't have to share her future husband with her little sister :)
