Madeleine and I spent the afternoon together. It was a special time spent together before she heads off to school in two days. She picked out a new pair of school shoes and a few school supplies. The school she will be attending actually provides all of the supplies, but we bought a few anyway for the fun of it. :) After doing a little shopping we went to her favorite place to grab a snack; Panera. For those of you who do not live in the midwest, it is a bakery that also serves fabulous soups, sandwhiches, and espresso drinks. Our last stop was Grammy and Papa's house to show them her new loot. We had a nice time. I spent the whole time watching her and remembering how it wasn't that long ago that she was a baby. Thankfully she is excited for the first day of school even though I am dreading it. I would love prayers for myself and Madeleine as we soon enter a new chapter of our lives.
