Steven & I did some Christmas shopping this evening and while we did the girls stayed with my parents. Even though Audrey has been very sick (she has a double ear infection, tonsil infection, and an infection in her right eye) and cranky for her mommy, she was a bundle of joy and energy for my mom. Audrey has also turned her nose up at all the food I have placed in front of her for the past couple of days, but this evening she filled up on mashed potatoes and green beans for my mom. I guess everything is more special at Grammy's house. I know Madeleine thinks so, when Gracie was spending time with Madeleine on her visit she said something to the effect of "this would be more fun if Grammy were here". However, I have digressed. Steven and I enjoyed dinner alone this evening and got a lot of shopping done. When we arrived to my parent's house at 9:45 this evening this is what we found:
My dad informed me that prior to our arrival Grammy had been asleep also. :)

For the record, I was not sleeping tonight! I was watching my favorite shows, Monk and Psych. It was your Father who snoozed most of the evening away!
Way to go Grammy! Katie, I'm glad you got to go out for a date :) One of these days Tim and I need to go out and we'll have to post Nana the next day! Although I'm fairly sure the picture will not be so serene...
