Friday Ramblings

Yesterday while Audrey was at Gymnastics learning new ways to be a daredevil,

Steven and Madeleine went to the park for a daddy-daughter walk.  He took the following pictures of her that have since become some of my favorite.
Today I finished a week long stretch subbing at an elementary school.  I worked with pre-school aged children in the Early Childhood Special Education program (ECSE).  It was one of the more exhausting weeks I have had in a long time, but also one of the most rewarding.  There is something about a classroom full of kids becoming excited upon your arrival that is very rewarding.  There's a part of me that will be sad not to see their little cherub (and snotty) faces on Monday, but that is the life of a substitute; a new role I am slowly becoming accustomed to.  However, there are many other kids I have yet to meet and I am looking forward to the new adventures they are sure to bring.
