March for Babies

Today my family & I walked in the March for Babies for the 5th year in a row.  Thanks to those of you who sponsored us we raised $635!!!  Your donations will support March of Dimes research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and it will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

700 people showed up to Holmes Lake Park on this beautiful afternoon to support a worthy cause.

The trail head was was lined with miracle mile signs, each one depicting the story of a family that has been touched by the March of Dimes.

Sadly, some of the signs were made in honor of a baby that did not survive.  This not only reminded me of how blessed we are to have Audrey with us today, but it affirms why we support the March of Dimes and their mission to save babies.

Walking for babies.

Audrey is the reason we first started walking.  Now we continue to walk so that more families can experience the kind of joy she brings to our life.  Joy that could have been taken from us too soon.  Thank you for helping us in our mission to save babies!
