Puzzling

It seems that my blog has been seriously lacking in stories of this sweet girl. While she is at school it is just Audrey and I, making it easy to write about what consumes our days. In the meantime, Madeleine seems to be growing up right before my eyes and impressing me with her new found talents. For example, I had no idea how much she loves puzzles or just how quickly she can put one together until we bought her one the other day. Maybe you don't find it impressive that my 6-year-old can piece together a puzzle in a matter of minutes, but I do because I. stink. at. puzzles. Through my sister, Natalie, I discovered a puzzle website where you can waste hours at a time doing puzzles. Each puzzle has a timer so you can see how quickly (or in my case how slowly) you finish. Natalie completes them in a couple minutes flat while it takes me a very frustrating 30 minutes. All of this to say, Madeleine did not inherit the puzzle gene from me!
