Happy Thanksgiving!

We are very fortunate that both sides of our immediate family live in the same city, so every Thanksgiving we juggle between the two of them. Each year we eat our big meal with one side of the family and desert with the other. This year we had our thanksgiving feast with Steven's family and desert with mine. Unfortunately, I have no pictures to show for our family thanksgiving with the Lewis'. I wasn't comfortable being the pushy broad I turn into when I am around my family. :) Once they arrived, I started posing people for pictures. In my opinion every holiday and special occasion must be documented with pictures.

Madeleine with her apple pie . . . her favorite
Audrey with a more non-traditional Thanksgiving pie, French Silk. Since that is the only kind of pie Steven will eat, I oblige and make it for him every year. Audrey loves it too; she had 3 pieces of it!
Chatting over coffee
Sisters
My mom with her girls
Dad with all of his ladies.
My girlies
I had my mom snap this picture when I realized that Steven had been taking all of the pictures and wasn't in one himself. No one escapes the camera!

In the true spirit of thanksgiving I will tell you what I am thankful for. Simply, I am thankful for my family. They love me even when I am unlovable and they are great company. And on a lighter, slightly vain note, I am thankful that my hair did not turn green or fall out when Steven dyed it this morning
I called it, Operation Gray Hair Removal. I am embarrassed to admit that I have been finding gray hairs and since premature grayness runs in my family, I had to nip it in the bud. Today was the first time I have colored my hair with permanent hair dye and I am thankful for the results.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
