Our House in the Fall

We have two large trees in our yard and every Fall they turn yellow and drop thousands of leaves on our lawn. Typically it is a slow process, but this year we have already had our first snow causing all of the leaves to drop at once.
Today, we started the process of raking and bagging them. Steven and I grumble about it, but the girls love it. It has turned into a yearly tradition of sorts (see here and here) and I guess you could say that even though it is a pain in the moment it makes for fond memories later. See . . .
So I guess those darn leaves aren't so bad after all.

I just have so many memories playing in the leaves when we were kids & helping mom & dad outside pick up all the leaves! Its just alot of fall fun! I love to play in them still with our kids! We build a big fort & then all run into it & the process begins again until we tell the kids its time to get rid of them! :) Amy J. :)
