Our Annual Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday evening we went to Vala's Pumpkin Patch just as we do every year. We had plans to go on Sunday, but the weather forecast caused us to change our plans. Yesterday was sunny & 55 with no wind so Steven left work early and we headed out as soon as Madeleine was done with school. Today there is snow on the ground!

Fall is my favorite season. I love the variety of colors you see as you drive around town. The trees here turn beautiful shades of yellow, orange, and fire engine red. Fall pictures are also my favorite, so I am very thankful we made it to the Pumpkin Patch when we did because it appears that winter has made an early arrival.

I have nap hair in this picture. I took a nap earlier in the day and well, this happened. But, it is rare to be in a picture with the girls so I posted it anyway.
