New Rooms & Random Pictures

The girls have been sharing a room since Audrey was a baby. But now that Madeleine is older and the girls have different sleep patterns, we thought now would be a good time to separate them. I was very skeptical at first, but the girls have adjusted to their new rooms very well. See . . .
With the new space acquired by having a room all to herself, Madeleine now has room for a hand-me-down desk from her Aunt Gracie. She has developed a love for art and is quite gifted in that area (in my humble opinion, that is). Now she has her very own space to create things. In fact, just about one hour ago I could hear her asking Audrey to leave because "I need privacy to imagine and make art".

Along the same lines as art, Madeleine has developed a love of photography. She is always asking to take pictures of us or the cats. Last night she asked to take a picture of Steven and I which turned into an evening of picture taking. Here are some of the pictures that resulted.
