This and That

So, I have another new look for my blog. The picture in my header was taken last Valentine's Day & it is one of my favorites.

In other news, Steven has pneumonia and it is complicated by the fact that he also has asthma. As I write this he is at the doctor for the second time this week because breathing is a struggle. He still continues to go to work, but I think Madeleine said it best this morning when she told Steven, "Daddy, you need to lie down and rest". As much as we try to get him to relax, he just isn't the resting type.

I came across another blog this week that I would encourage you to visit, . . . where laughter lives. The youngest daughter of this particular family was diagnosed with Leukemia and on Wednesday she started the phase of treatment she is least likely to survive. The family is asking for prayers and hoping that anyone who stumbles upon their blog would share it with others. I know that many of you who read my blog are prayer warriors so I am encouraging you to get down on your knees for this little girl.

And I will end this blog post with a picture I happen to like a lot. I took it a couple days ago after the girls got their hair cut (actually, Madeleine just had her bangs cut since she is growing out her hair). Have a great weekend!
