Recipe For Apple Dumplings

One of my co-workers from the bookstore gave me a recipe for Apple Dumplings. They turned out so well that I want to share the recipe with you, my blog readers. It is very simple and a great recipe for your children to help prepare.

Ingredients
2-3 Granny Smith Apples, peeled and cored
2 cans crescent rolls
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
cinnamon
1 stick butter, melted
1 can mountain dew
Prepartion: Quarter apples. Wrap in crescent rolls. Place in a 9x13 pan. Mix sugars and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top. Pour butter on top. Pour Mountain Dew around edges and between. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

The girls wrapped the apples in the crescent rolls:

Sprinkled sugar on top: The Finished Product:

The best part is that they taste awesome!! They are a perfect Fall treat. :)
