Today Madeleine ran in the 7th Annual Great Pumpkin Run; America's largest kids cross country run. She ran an entire mile and who better to run it with her than her Papa. Papa is an avid runner. He has run in countless marathons, half marathons, you name it. He coached her and explained that she she should start by running slower at first. He even stretched with her before the run.

Who knows, maybe she will follow in the footsteps of her Papa and be a long distance runner some day. The sky is the limit! :)
I have one more accomplishment of Madeleine's to note. She was mentioned in the school newsletter as having OUSTANDING CHARACTER. I happen to think she does as well. Way to go Madeleine; we are proud of you!
