Gracie Leaves For Kenya Today - Please Pray!

This is an e-mail my mom sent out this morning. I thought it would be beneficial to post it on my blog as well. Please pass this information on to anyone you know who would keep Grace and the missionary team in their prayers. Even Madeleine is faithfully praying at every meal and at bedtime. :)

Grace leaves this morning at 10:55 am for Dallas where she will meet up with the rest of her Kenya team. From there they will fly to London Heathrow airport and from London on to Nairobi, Kenya. I believe they will travel over land to reach Kisumu where they will be ministering. Please pray for safety as they travel.

Psalm 91
For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways.

Pray for the health of the team, that no one gets sick or contracts a disease such as malaria.

3 John 1:2
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

Pray for the group dynamics.

Ephesians
1 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all
.

Pray for the messages and lessons that will be taught. Grace will be leading lessons on the life and ministry of Jesus and discipleship with a group of 30 pastors. She will teach Holy Week lessons to young children.

1 Timothy 4:16
Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.

Pray for peace in the nation of Kenya.

Psalm 29:11
11 The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.

We deeply appreciate your prayer support. My mom is on the list to receive e-mail updates from the mission team. As she receives them I will update my blog.
