Madeleine's Pre-School Graduation

Madeleine graduated from pre-school this evening. I guess that means she is officially a kindergartner. For the past year and a half she has attended pre-school at a local church. Her teacher, Mrs. Calfee, does a wonderful job of putting together a program where the children sing songs (Madeleine sang them all word for word) and some have speaking parts. Madeleine did have a speaking part and she knew it backwards and forwards. However, when her big moment arrived, she was in her own little world. Mrs. Calfee said her name as a reminder and instead of taking her cue Madeleine said, "what"?! Oh well. It is those moments that make programs like this so cute. :) After the performance each child received a diploma.

After graduation she received some special gifts; princess dolls to add to her growing collection.

It is hard to believe that the school year is already over. In August she will be headed to kindergarten . . .
