This is a picture of Madeleine with her best friend Toby. They go to pre-school and sunday school together and Toby's mom (Hilary) is one of my good friends. This morning after pre-school one of Madeleine's teachers informed Hilary of a conversation between Toby and Madeleine:
Madeleine - I am going to marry you when I grow up.
Toby - No you're not.
Madeleine - Yes I am.
I love how Madeleine didn't even flinch when Toby said no. She just stuck to her guns and said that they would marry someday. Hilary and I have always said that we are okay with an arranged marriage. :)
I just love kids. Without them life would be so boring. :)

On Sunday Madeleine shared with me a conversation she had with her friend, Kahlan, in sunday school. With some concern in her voice she told me that Kahlan had been bitten by a monkey. I looked at her and said, "a monkey? How could she have been bitten by monkey?" Then Madeleine said, "her grandma has a monkey". It just so happens that I work with Kahlan's mom at Lemstone so this evening I shared with her the conversation I had with Madeleine. Noelle could hardly contain her laughter. Through tears she said, "my mom has a cat named Montey & he bit Kahlan".
I just love kids. Without them life would be so boring. :)

LOVE IT! So, do you think our grandbabies will have red hair? (Hahaha!) Someday they are going to hate us for this ;) But, serioiusly, I can't think of anyone sweeter to be my son's mother-in-law than you.
