HAPPY BIRTHDAY MADELEINE

Today Madeleine turned 5!!! We started the day off by going to church where her sunday school class sang Happy Birthday to her, then we went on a "date" to Las Margaritas, went home and rested after stuffing ourselves silly, went to the children's zoo, then went shopping with the birthday money she received from her Great Grandma and Grandpa (thank you Mama Ann and Grandpa Gene!).

Since I am feeling sentimental about this monumental birthday, I made a video montage of the past 5 years of Madeleine's life. The song it is set to (Baby Mine) is the one I sang to her as a baby (although not as well as Alison Krauss). To this day Madeleine has dubbed it her song and still thinks the title is Baby Madeleine.

My cousin Kelly has started a neat tradition of posting the scoop on her birthday girls so I will do the same today for Madeleine. Here is the scoop on Madeleine:

Favorite Dinner - The cheese burrito platter at Las Margaritas
Favorite Dessert - Brownies
Favorite Book - Barbie as the Island Princess (It is a level 2 reading with help book)
Interests - Drawing, Playing dress up, Playing outside, Building with Legos, Any kind of imaginative play.
Hobbies - Collecting anything and everything Disney Princess & collecting clothes for her American Doll.
Favorite Movies - Anything Disney Princess. However, at the moment her TWO favorite are Enchanted and Barbie starring in the Nutcracker.
Pet Peeve - When Audrey knocks down her lego castles or steals her stuff. :)
Favorite Song - The Na Na Song (From Shout to the Lord Kids)
Favorite Bands - Hillsong Kids and GoFish
