Today is my dad's birthday and we celebrated the occassion at our house. Madeleine had been looking forward to this evening all day so she could yell "SURPRISE". So, she got Natalie, Steven, & Audrey in on it too. They hid behind our lazy boy chair and when dad walked in they all yelled surprise. I made Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo for dinner and German Chocolate Cake for dessert. We had a nice evening together as a family.
(For the record, we know how goofy Natalie looks in both pictures. Most people try to smile nicely for the camera, but Natalie has always been "special" in that she does just the opposite. That is one of the many reasons why I love her. )

WHAT DO YOU MEAN I LOOK GOOFY???? I happen to think those are some of the most beeeeeaaaauutiful pictures ever taken of me. Your just envious of my superb picture-taking goodness. ya, that's right!
