Where has the time gone?

This morning I drove up the street and around the corner to the Elementary School to register Madeleine for kindergarten. Two nights ago I bawled like a blubbering idiot to my amused husband because I don't know how I am going to let her go. It literally seems like just yesterday I looked like this:

I thought it was pretty nifty that I had a built-in tray.

And it felt like just yesterday when Madeleine and I did this:

I used to rock Madeleine for hours while staring at her face. I enjoyed it so much that I never wanted it to end. I knew I had to soak up the feeling and savor every minute because it wouldn't last forever. 5 years later I am here to say that it went by way too fast. On August 20th Madeleine will start all day kindergarten.

What sends me into hysterics is the idea of not having enough time with her. As you know I work at a Christian Bookstore to supplement Steven's income. I typically work 3 evenings a week from 5-9 and Saturday 10-3:30 (sometimes 3:30-9:00). Unfortunately I can't quit working, but I am praying that my boss (aka the store owner) will be gracious and understanding if I have to drop down to 2 days during the work week or my other prayer is that God will provide an opportunity for me to earn money from home. My full time and most important job is being a mom and I have a hard time juggling other responsibilities on top of that. Our arrangement has worked out great until now . . . the dreaded arrival of kindergarten. So, perhaps you all could help this hysterical mom by praying. :) I have known for 5 years that this day was coming, but I didn't think it would come so fast.
