Making Halloween Memories

I have been a bad blogger lately.  While I am sure you all have survived quite well without Memorable Moments updates, this brings me to the reason why I blog in the first place.  It is a place for me to chronicle the Memorable Moments in the lives of my girls.  They are only kids once and their childhood is precious to me.  I want to provide a place for them to recall their childhood days and reflect on the memories we made.  With that being said, even though I am working now and free time is harder to come by, I am going to keep chronicling our memorable moments.  Even if they are fewer and farther between.

With that being said, we made a few memories this weekend, beginning on Friday afternoon with the girls' Fall parties at school.

Madeleine just before enjoying the caramel apple sundae she made.

Later that same day we went Trunk-or Treating at a local church.  So, before the actual arrival of Halloween we were already well stocked on candy.  I have already failed miserably at controlling my urge to snack.

On Saturday we visited another pumpkin patch.
This one had several new attractions to keep the girls busy, like this slide:

As you can see, Steven and I enjoyed it as much as the girls.  The other new attraction was this pillow jumper.
And yes, Steven and I enjoyed that too.   After checking out all the new toys, the girls each picked out a pumpkin to carve.  The rule was that they had to be able to carry it & both of them were just barely able to pick them up.

The next day they carved their pumpkins.

The piece of paper is where Madeleine drew her pumpkin design.  Audrey is busy drawing hers in the background.

With today being Halloween we are sure to create even more memories as the girls dress up and go trick-or-treating.  I'm loving this season of our lives.
