Peace which exceeds all understanding

The past couple of months have been a period of uncertainty in mine and Steven's life. Dreams that seemed within grasp are drifting away. However, I have never been more at peace. I have never been so happy. I have never been so thankful. I have been reading and praying the following bible verse every day and I want to share it with you in hopes that it can provide you with peace today as well.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

I have two blogs I want to share with you. The first is Kayleigh's Story. Kayleigh was born 3 months prematurely on June 23, 2008. Audrey was born just as early but only spent 7.5 weeks in the NICU while baby Kayleigh is still there. Kayleigh's mom and dad (Adam and Aimee) are real estate agents. However, due to the bad housing market and Kayleigh's growing medical bills, Adam and Aimee are in financial trouble and facing foreclosure. I would encourage you to check out their blog and lift this family up in prayer.

The second blog I want to share with you is act of kindness project 1:27. John and Julie Wright are missionaries that have been spending several weeks at a time restoring hope to the people of Kyrgystan. Now, it is their prayer to be able to do their work in Kyrgystan full time. John and Julie were of a big help to my friends Tim and Hilary when they adopted their daughter from Kyrg. If you are interested in learning more about what they do visit their blog.

Have a good weekend! :)
